Maddona Passes Out

December 9, 2009

Madge lost consciousness singing Holiday and had to be held up by a dancer. Then, as she left the stage during Spanish Lesson, she passed out and fell over.

A source said: “Madge was really worried backstage. She had to sit down for a longer than usual between songs. She refused to end the show or take a break after the [first] dizzy spell. She’s suffering from exhaustion… she is anaemic.

“She was advised to postpone the last two shows in Israel for a few days, but logistics and stubborness stopped her. She’ll do them then take some rest.”

While in Bulgaria she took a dip with her tour dancers. She is also pictured in the video for her new single Celebration, with daughter LOURDES.

Here’s one of Madona’s hit singles called Like a Virgin:

T.A.T.U – Not Gonna Get Us

Not Gonna Get Us” (translated from “Нас Не Догонят”) is the second single from t.A.T.u.’s debut English album 200 km/h in the Wrong Lane and was released in mid-2003. This was also to be the last song taken from that album in the UK, where it reached #7 on the singles chart. “Not Gonna Get Us” was sampled in the song “Miss Love Tantei” by W. The song was used as the closing song in the 2008 film, The Code, which had Russian characters and clubs as central to the plot. Music by Sergio Galoyan and lyrics by Elena Kiper, Ivan Shapovalov, Valeriy Polienko and Sergio Galoyan, Version by Trevor Horn.

The music video for this song is a re-edited version of the Russian video, altered to remove the lip synching, usually by adding a broken glass shot over the shots of them singing. The video starts off with close-ups of Yulia and Lena, implying that they have done something wrong. They steal a large truck and ride off down a snowy Siberian landscape together with the truck slightly burning on the engines’ left side while talking and reading a map. They run over a construction worker in the middle of the road, who is played by their ex producer Ivan Shapovalov. At the end of the video it shows both girls standing on the top of the moving truck, hugging each other in triumph. Ivan Shapovalov directed the video.

Pussycat Dolls take a break ?!

September 25, 2009

Pussycat Dolls are tired of ‘being sisters 24 hours a day’ and taking a break from music.

Singer Melody Thornton has denied the girl group – also consisting of Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt and Jessica Sutta – are splitting for good, but admits they need a rest from each other.

She said: ‘Right now the Pussycat Dolls are on a break. It’s actually a much-needed break.

“It’s like when you’re with your sisters for 24 hours a day and you need to take your own shower.

‘We’re not breaking up – everybody keeps saying that, but, it’s like, people take breaks.’

However, Melody, 24 hasn’t ruled out recording a solo album.

She added to MTV News: ‘I always tell people that I’ve been working since the beginning of Pussycat Dolls and making records and always staying true to my passion, which is music, because I love it.

‘Absolutely I’m making music. I love it and I’m going to live it.”

Last month, the future of the Pussycat Dolls was questioned when reports surfaced the band members had fallen out after a number of jealous rows over lead singer Nicole having a higher public profile than the rest of the group.

After the Pussycat Dolls’ last show of their tour in August, Kimberly revealed was ready to move onto new projects and start her own fashion line.

She said: ‘I’ve had six years with the Pussycat Dolls and have been dancing for 20. Now that I’ve lived as much as I have, I feel it’s time to move on and truly give back.’
